Rotterdam has the honor of organizing the World Police & Fire Games 2021. Every year, more and more tourists come to Rotterdam. This world city is constantly renewing itself, and is also known as 'Manhattan on the Maas'. Rotterdam is buzzing with life. This dynamic city has sparkling skyscrapers, is inextricably linked to water as a port city, and has trendy restaurants, fantastic museums and special attractions. The motto on Rotterdam’s coat of arms is ‘Sterker door strijd’, which in English means: 'Stronger through effort'. The motto is a reminder of the strength with which the people of Rotterdam endured the trials of the war, and the part they played in the liberation of the Netherlands. Voor het eerst in de geschiedenis worden de World Police & Fire Games in Nederland georganiseerd. Nederland, het land van de tulpenvelden, windmolens, klompen en kaas. Een open-minded land vol prachtige natuur, bruisende steden en gezellige dorpen. Waar iedereen welkom is en zich thuis voelt.
Elk jaar komen miljoenen toeristen naar Nederland. Velen bezoeken de hoofdstad Amsterdam, met zijn historische centrum, grachten, koffieshops en beroemde musea. Maar Nederland is zo veel meer.
