The Netherlands has a large and active 3x3 Basketball community with skilled 3x3 players and referees all over the country, all with a big heart for this relatively young urban basketball sport. The past years the Dutch Basketball Federation (NBB) organized several Big 3X3 events like the Fiba 3x3 European, Fiba 3x3 World championship and several challengers. The Netherlands also competed with their National Men’s 3X3 team at the Olympics (4th place) and Team 3X3 Amsterdam is also a top contender at the prestigious Fiba 3X3 World Tour (ranked 3th overall in 2021).
