Angling (salt)

Maasvlakte 2 is the name of the port of Rotterdam’s expansion project, and is located to the west of the original Maasvlakte. With the addition of this new area of 2,000 hectares on land reclaimed from the sea, the port became 20% larger. A quarter of Dutch anglers sometimes fish in the sea, and some even fish only in salt water. The sea air, the open space and the wealth of fish species make sea fishing special.
